Day 6 - Day 7 - Linz with friends

Austria!

Had an awesome weekend with friends Gregor, Lena and my beautiful God daughter Iriye, who are visiting Gregor's family in Linz.

Hil flew over for 2 nights and Jono and Septima came with their little son, who turns out to be quite the ladies' man. So good to spend time with old friends. I wonder if he'll grow up to have his dad's appetite.

Just some light German breakfast.

Hil demonstrating her taste for travel.

I will have to stop bleaching my skin.
Even got out for a row on the Danube on Sunday morning with my sleepy crew mates in a quintuple scull. A combination of Barossa Shiraz on the rooftop, an excited 18 month old not wanting to sleep and a late night for all made the 6:30am meeting a bit hard but it was totally worth it. Gregor's dad Gunther hooked us up with a QUINTUPLE scull (yes a 5x-) from Ister Rowing club. Truly spectacular.

On Sunday night I moved into a new airBNB accommodation just 4km away from Lena and Gregor where I'll stay for the week. Just next door is a cemetary and a tombstone shop, which I discovered on my journey to the petrol station for snacks (the shops are closed in Austria on Sunday).

This one's on special! Looks like 2016 isn't going to be a good year for 'Anton'.
Can't wait for a week in Austria.
